Mental Health Resources

A vibrant autumn forest of white birch trees with yellow and orange leaves.

988 Crisis Line

The 988 Crisis Line is available 24/7, responding to calls, chats, or texts from anyone seeking support for suicidal thoughts, mental health issues, or substance use crises. This essential service connects individuals in need with a counselor who offers personal, judgment-free support tailored to their unique situation. Additionally, resources like the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the SafeUT App, and The Trevor Project provide further assistance and information for those facing these challenges.

SafeUT App

You can reach out at any time through the SafeUT App, allowing you to chat with a crisis worker confidentially or submit a tip about a safety concern related to someone else. Additionally, for those seeking immediate support, the 988 Crisis Line is available as a resource.

SafeUT Frontline is dedicated to supporting individuals working in health care, fire/EMS, law enforcement, corrections, and public safety dispatch, as well as their families. It connects them with licensed mental health professionals who understand their unique challenges and provide confidential support. This program also aligns with the mission of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and collaborates with organizations like The Trevor Project to ensure comprehensive mental health resources are available.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ young people. We offer 24/7 support and information to LGBTQ+ youth throughout the year. In addition to our resources, individuals can also reach out to the 988 Crisis Line or the National Alliance on Mental Illness for further assistance. For those in Utah, the SafeUT App provides another valuable resource for mental health support.

National Alliance on Mental Illness

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, provides valuable educational resources on various psychiatric diagnoses. They also offer support groups for individuals struggling with mental illness and their families. For immediate help, you can reach out to the 988 Crisis Line or use the SafeUT App, and for LGBTQ+ youth, The Trevor Project is an essential resource.
