You’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself. Whether you’re navigating trauma, struggling with dramatic mood shifts, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and depression, focus issues, or sleep problems, I’m here to help you find clarity and relief.
With over 16 years of nursing experience — and 9 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner — I’ve supported clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and personality disorders (with good insight). My practice focuses on safe, thoughtful, collaborative medication management. I offer brief therapy when appropriate, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy and solutions focused therapy.
Patient-centered care is the cornerstone of my work. I often describe treatment like a road trip: you’re in the driver’s seat with a destination in mind. I’m in the passenger seat (requesting snacks and DJ privileges), with a roadmap and helping you navigate options. You set the pace and direction — I’m here to support the journey.
I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to make care more accessible.

The right care starts with the right diagnosis. Prior to your first appointment you’ll be asked to complete a number of forms that will guide our session. We’ll discuss your history, past treatments, symptoms and goals to get a clear understanding of your needs. This collaborative process allows us to determine an accurate diagnosis so your treatment plan is tailored to you, not guesswork.
Sometimes medication is necessary to treat mental illness, the same way a person with diabetes might require insulin. Safe, evidenced-based medication management can help you feel like you again. We’ll monitor your progress, adjust medication when needed and monitor for side effects so your treatment remains effective, personalized, and guided by proven practices.
Therapy is often a vital component of your treatment plan. I utilize psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy and solutions focused therapy to improve mood, anxiety, and restore healthy sleep. I can also connect you with a therapist to fit your unique needs for longer-term support.
While we are primarily tele-health based, in person appointments are available in St George, Utah and Denver, Colorado at least a few days every month.
